I like both of them depends if you are wearing a veil or notPosted a few pics of wedding hairstyles and me in dress, help?
Your dress looks a lot like mine. I had a style VERY similar to the first one (updo).
My stylist made a good point when I was deciding whether to do an updo or a half-and-half: When you're out dancing, or at a bar or whatever, and you have your hair down, does it bother you after a while? For most of us (especially with long, thick hair!) it does. She suggested an updo for that reason AND because a ';down'; do won't stay however it's styled. With the hugging and the dancing, and the nervous playing with it, the curls will fall and it will likely get a bit frizzy. So it will be a gorgeous style for the wedding, and most likely still be really great for the pictures, but chances are by the end of the night (if not before) it will look like a plain, flat, half-ponytail. Done by any stylist, with any product, this will be the case. Especially with thick hair.
Just food for thought.
BTW: You and your fiance are a BEAUTIFUL couple. Do you guys live in or near northern Mass? You look so familiar...
I am a Licensed Beautician with my own Salon. I love your dress. But the hair really depends on what you want. Do you want the focus on the back of your dress? Remember, that is what everyone will be looking at while you are at the Alter. I love Style #2, But once again it is up to you. The first style will show off the back of your gown, But with your hair down, it shows how beautiful your hair is. Style #2 is gorgeous because it is soft and romantic. Which ever you decide, I know that you will be a beautiful bride.
Hairstyle #2. Not only is it pretty, it will be less hassle to walk around in all day.
Your dress is lovely. You are a very beautiful young woman. Gorgeous eyes and a stunning smile. You will be a radiant bride.
I'm personally a big fan of up-do's for weddings. I tend to shy away from down-do's that are fancy because they hide faces and necks, which would otherwise give the impression of slenderness and height if it wasn't hidden behind hair.
Definitely the 2nd one!!!!!! It's so beautiful. I definitely think it looks more romantic and intimate. The other one just says, ';Yep, I'm another bride with hair like every other bride.';
The second one is very intimate.
The second style is beautiful! I think it'll compliment your hair, facial features, and dress beautifully. Good luck!
Whoa, that is one gorgeous bride! Love the dress. You have beautiful hair, so either style would work well, but I think an up-do is more formal and classy. Congrats!!
Go for style 1, I love it, it will look so good on you and with your dress.
I love the second style the best...the loose curls and your hair down is what I would prefer with a strapless dress...
What ever you pick it will look gorgeous!
I love your dress.. wear your hair down.. With the sparkle of the dress you don't need a hairdo that is super fancy!
Good luck!
HAHA! I actually did my hair like Style 1 for prom last year, and I loved it! So I vote for that one.
I love the long romantic curls in style number 2. Works well with the flow of the chiffon on your gown. Congratulations!
You need to wear your hair down because so much of you is 'bare' with that dress, so the second style.
i will choosee the style 2 it will go more with the dress
i like style number two !!
I am always all about updos... they're so elegant and formal. I vote for style number 1! :)
I love the second one... the first one seems too typical, plus the second one would look awesome on you I bet.
