Adrianne Curry's wedding hairstyle...?

Ok so I want long flowy hairstyle on my wedding day. I loved Adrianne Curry's (1st cycle winner of ANTM) and wife of Christopher Knight (ex Peter Brady from the Brady Bunch) hairlstyle. I have looked everywhere. How do I get a hair do like hers. I live near chicago so any ideas would be appreciated. I think she had hair extensions put in. Does any one know? How do I get details about her hair on her wedding?

Thanks for all the helpAdrianne Curry's wedding hairstyle...?
I've seen the pictures of her hairstyle and while it isn't my favorite, it does look very nice on her.

The one thing that I would caution you about is the fact that this hairstyle can make the hair look very stringy instead of long and flowy...however, everyone's hair is different. Your's may be able to hold that style much better than someone with my hair.

I also wanted my hair long and flowy the day of my wedding, but I also didn't want it to look stringy or fall into my face. Since I already have very long hair I was just lacking in the volume department. My hairdresser and I went over to a local wig shop (best place to go for real hair extentions...and trust me, you want the real ones) and got a few clip in extenstions that we clipped in at the top of my head. Gave it a lot more volume.

They have hair extensions that you can clip in. They go in a circle around the head and add a lot of length and volume to the bottom part of the hair. Like these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/DARK-BROWN-HAIR-CIRC鈥?/a>

If you get the ones with real hair your stylist shouldn't have any problem curling them, etc. I know with mine you can shampoo, curl, hair spray them, etc.

Another thing to consider is that she is not wearing a veil...do you want to wear a veil? The veil can drastically change the look of the hairstyle.

Just bring those pictures to your stylist and they should be able to play around with it. Definitely do a trial. If I had not done one my hair would have fallen completely flat that day.

Good luck to you :)Adrianne Curry's wedding hairstyle...?
I'm getting married in May and that's how I want my hair also. I have tried to find pictures but didn't come up with anything good. I just told the hair stylist that I wanted the sides back and loose curls in the rest. We did a trail run and it looked good.

When you find the person who is going to do your hair ask him or her if they saw the wedding.

Good luck!
I hope this helps

Yes she had extensions, the ones that are glued on.
If it's really hot the day of your wedding, you'll wish to Heaven you would have put it up somehow. And sweat will ruin whatever makeup you have on. But if it's going to be cool, then long hair worn down is fine.

As far as your question, I think you can contact any salon and show them the picture you have in mind.
your best bet is to get a picture of her hair and take it in to the stylist that will be doing your hair. most stylists give you a ';trial run'; for your wedding hair so you can discuss how it could be done then. best wishes!

    I LOVE YOUR DRESS.!!!!!

I think that it would be great if you did a half pony tail on the top and put the bottom in little ringlits. then take the half pony, pull the hair tie a little farther towards the end and squeeze your fingers through your hair so that there is a hole, then flip all of the hair through the hole and it hides the hair tie and its really adorable!

its great with your dress too because you get to see your face but also get some of your hair on your shoulders. the curls make it very romantic and beautiful and the hair flip just completes it! good luck!

here are a bunch on the knot.com. and a little advice: i did my bridal pictures this past weekend. my hairstylist failed to tell me NOT to flat iron my hair before coming....so my curls fell out within an hour!!!
That is exactly what I want. I haven't found a ton that I like but this is one of them:

    Help with finding wedding hairstyle?

I have medium length (past my shoulders, not quite to the middle of my back) dark brown hair, very straight, which doesn't curl well, but will hold some curl. My wedding is pretty casual, we are getting married in a garden/gazebo type location with about 20 family members present. My dress is @ www.davidsbridal.com style # BR1014. I don't want an updo, because I never wear my hair up unless I am working out or hanging at home. I would like a half-up do that I can do myself if possible. I also have a pretty tiara that my mom %26amp; I found for $10 on clearance...its not big %26amp; doesnt stick up a lot. Anyway, I have been searching for days to find something I like online that is close to what I want....Does anyone have any ideas? It doesn't have to be a half-up, I can go for all down, but definitely not all up! All suggestions(positive only please!) will be greatly appreciated....Help with finding wedding hairstyle?
Wear your hair like you would normally wear your hair if you where going on a fancy date with your fiancee'. Try our a stylist at least 3 months before the wedding. Don't do anything you normally wouldn't do. Remember he is marrying you not some fantasy you've made up in your head about your dream wedding. Just don't go extreme.Help with finding wedding hairstyle?
I can't post the link for some reason but do a Google search for ';photobucket be_byte6';. She has an amazing gallery of hairstyles for all hairtypes.
well, what i did for my sisters wedding was pulled my hair in a side pony and curled it. I have the same thing you do, my hair is pretty long and it wont really hold a curl. Just make sure if you curl it to use a lot of hairspray, it works!! Yeah, curl it with a curling iron and then pull in loosely into a side pony that rests on your shoulders and then spray the heck out of it and take the tip of a comb and sort of poof your hair so it doesnt look so flat. Congrats on the wedding! :)
Half up dos are very popular. Have a look at the half up hairdo photo collage on the homepage of this group. There are more pictures in the group photo section. You have to join the group to see them.

(I now own this group. I took over from the previous owner who was too busy to take care of it. I made photo collages of a lot of hairstyles and they are posted in the photo section under hairstyles updos and halfup dos).

I invite any girls here getting married, to join.
do the opposite of what u do now.

if u leave it down wear it up

if u wear it curly wear it straight

    and so forth. Good luck.

    p.s.

in my opinion... with that dress u should wear ur hair down and curl it only at the tips. put on ur tiara and u will look great.

btw I love that dress it's really cute. I like it with the clover ribbon since it's a garden/gazebo wedding and it's casual.

I'd take the tiara and veil (if you have one) and go to your salon. Have a trial run. You may find that you like your hair all up.

I, like you have hair about the same length, but mine has natural curl/wave to it, so it doesn't hold curl well either - usually I just frizz! I thought I wanted a 1/2 up do, but once I saw it all up with the veil and tiara, I changed my mind.

You may think you want it one way, but once you see it done another way, you'll like it better! It only cost me $30 (tip included) to have my salon do my hair all down, 1/2 up, and full up.

    Good luck, and Congratulations!
Hey, I would do the opposite of what you do now. also I love that dress, I am afraid to order it online. Did you get it yet does it fitt. Do you need to alter It? I was considering getting it myself but afraid of online wedding dress purchasing. Do they have any fit garantee? Please post in aditional comments if you would. Thanx and congratulations!
Look up some celebs you like (or that have similar hair) and see how they've worn theirs. Either for movies or Oscars. I think as it's rather casual, look up Kate Hudson. Her hair has more curl but you can still get some great hairstyles for garden weddings.

Another hairstyle I really like with tiaras is something like this

    http://heatherhost.ehost-services102.com鈥?/a>

Instead of all up like that, do it half up half down. Hair piled up high like that really shows off the tiara. Think Mary Tyler Moore. Or the beginning of the Beehive. Where it has that 1960s poof at the crown.
I did a search last week on google for ';How to do half up do hair style'; and there were several videos on Utube that actually gave demos on how to do them yourself. I started last week and have been practicing them myself. My hair is the same length as yours, and is straight, but with the help of some mousse my hair will hold a curl. I am wearing a comb in my hair for the wedding that's about 5'; across and only 1'; high.

Today's half up do has gotten the most compliments from both customers and co-workers. It's been fun getting people's input.

I would search and check it out... it's alot easier than I ever would have thought!

    Good luck!

    Half-up wedding hairstyle... HELP!?

I have been thinking for months now that I wanted ALL of my hair put in an up-do. However, I got my hair done for free at a bridal show today and it COMPLETELY changed my mind. I never ever wear my hair up and now I know why. I am totally set on having one of those half-up styles now. Here's a few of my issues though... 1) We are getting married in mid-July when it's usually pretty hot and humid (will my curls stay? and how can the salon get them to stay?) will it help that the ceremony doesn't start until 5:30 and the reception is immediately following? 2) I have very fine hair. Not thin... just fine. I have alot of it but it slips out of bobby pins and everything else very easily. Do you think I could pull all those curls off? Also, any good pictures of a half-up style with a tiara? Thanks so much!Half-up wedding hairstyle... HELP!?
My wedding is July 11th and I'm thinking about a half updo as well. Some suggestions to keep the curls in - after washing your hair the night before, put gel through it. And don't use conditioner - I know for my hair, it gets so soft that it just slips out of any bobby pin or barrette. Last time I was in a wedding with a half updo, the stylish sprayed every curl before and after putting it on the curling iron.

Also, you could try a style that is technically ';up'; but has curls coming down the back so it looks like it's down. But the curls are off your neck and less susceptible to drooping.

Honestly, as long as the curls survive through your pictures after the ceremony, that's the most important thing. Then at your reception just dance and have a good time - everybody else's hair will be just as droopy by night's end!Half-up wedding hairstyle... HELP!?
Why don't you do a french braid. All of your hair would be up but it would still be down on your neck. Have some sprigs around your face curled. You could put some baby's breath in teh braid. This way the only curls you would have to worry about fallling is the ones around your face adn having most of your hair up will keep you cooler.
Have you thought about using a hairpiece. They hold curls alot better and some come in the design already..all you have to do is attach it

    http://www.wigs.com/index.php?cPath=2%26amp;fi鈥?/a>
Yes it will look nice. That is how I did mine.

    http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cf鈥?/a>

ok I sent an email. I hope you get it. I am wearing a tiara.
i wore my hair half up and half down when i got married last July, and I kind of wish I went with all up. It was hot outside, so when we were outside getting pictures taken, the half that was down was actually sticking to the back of my neck from sweat! I wish I wore it all up so I wouldn't have had that happen. I got mind done at a salon and my hair dresser told me that my curls would stay all day no matter what - but they didn't! she put lots of hairspray and stuff in my hair, but it didn't matter. by the end of the night my curls had lost their bounce.

    http://www.chrisandcarmel.com/gallery/d/鈥?/a>
Okay this wasn't a wedding but it was my senior prom (back in 2004...seems like forever) and at the time I was having me nails done at a salon that was for African Americans (I was really good friends with own of the owners and he suggested I got there) so when I was the getting my nails done I mentioned I didn't know what to do about my hair for prom because my dress was very intricate (it had a see through back with flower stitching and beading that I didn't want missed) so she told me to bring it in the next time I came in and show it to their hairstylist that wasn't in that day. I brought it in 2 weeks later (day before prom actually) showed it to her and she told me she had an idea (I wanted it half up half down with ringlets going down my back) I went in the next day (around 11-prom at 6) and she did my hair using curling irons that she put in her little ovens she had at her station (I've never seen this done and to this day I still haven't seen it) she would put 3 different sizes in the oven to heat up (I wish I could find a picture of what they look like but I can't find one on the internet (maybe someone else knows what I'm taking about) she would grab one and twirl one around for a few seconds to cool it down a little grab a section of hair, and smooth down the little fly-aways with it the curl it. I'll tell you what it was damn hot (I could feel the heat going through my hair to my neck..and I don't even feel that with a regular curling iron you plug in) I was a little worried my hair would get singed off like in ';Little Women'; if you've seen the movie you'll know what I'm talking about, but the curls came out nice and soft and bouncey. She did this to my whole head, and it looked gorgeous just like that! She put my little tiara in and I went home to change for prom, my mother and boyfriend (fiance now) both cried because I'm the little rough and tumble girl that would rather go play with my horses in the mud that put a dress on (apparently I looked like a lady...whatever lol) I dances the whole prom (the humidity and stuffiness of the room was horrible for everyone's hair...but not mine) I got home @ 4 in the morning went straight to bed, then got up @ 8:30 to go to breakfast with my boyfriend and family and my hair still looked like it just got done, not a strand out of place - I did look a little funny walking into Denny's with my hair like it did but it was a funny moment, I then went back home to bed and got up at 4:00 to go watch my bf and his friends play basketball (with my hair still looking great just minus the tiara) it was great and funny at the same time cause his friends have never seen me looking like that a priceless moment so to speak (he and I went to different schools and his friends couldn't stop laughing) it was a fun 24 hrs I'll say. But I would definatly check out different salons and see what they have for curling (this was the best for my hair and I have REALLY thick hair) and see if this works best for you. If you find a salon that has what I am talking about just tell them you are trying different hairstyles for you wedding and just have them curl your whole head of hair and just do everday life with your curls and see how long it take them to droop.

**EDIT** Okay never mind I figured it out now after I emailed you, it's called stand and stove sets (incase anyone else wasinterested) http://www.ebonyline.com/stoveiron.html here's a site that sells the sets and other accessories as well. They work great!

I would go to the stylist you plan to use and ask her all of those questions. I'm sure she would have some great suggestions on how to make your specific type of hair work with the hairstyle you want. In my opinion, I don't think the heat will necessarily affect your hair, but the wind may. I got married in Oct %26amp; had a half up style also and it was such a windy day that a lot of my curls did fall. However, it was still out of my face and looked pretty regardless. And it was curly in the photos we took before the ceremony, so it worked out.
