Wedding hairstyles-wearing hair down?

HI, I am have an August wedding coming up soon. I have long straight hair and rounder face. If I wear my hair all up, it will complement my rounder face so I was thinking of waring it down or just a little bit up and the rest down.

Is it too informal to have my hair down? Also, my hair is naturally really straight and does not curl well....

Any suggestions? Any links to suggested hairstyle would be greatly appreciated. because I'm so frustrated...

Thank you so much for any answers! :)Wedding hairstyles-wearing hair down?
definitely get to the hairdresser and have a trial. that way you can decide what you want and see if she can give the desired look. if she can't, it doesn't matter, just move on to another hairdresser! that way you won't have a hair disaster on your wedding day!

I'm wearing my hair down, but it will be curled. I think long hair left untied is really romantic. my wedding won't be the traditional white wedding though.

have a look through the links to see if there's something you might like!Wedding hairstyles-wearing hair down?
What I would do if I were you, is schedule a trial with a hairdresser--spend 3 or 4 hours going over hairstyles with him/her. Take a photo of your gown, and physically take your headpiece and veil you'll be wearing. Your hairstyle should reflect who you are, but still go with your gown, headpiece and veil, so it's really hard to give you suggestions w/o knowing that info.

There are many different sites you can find photos of hairstyles. Run a google search for ';bridal hairstyles,'; and you'll get BUNCHES of links.
I think all brides should have their hair up. It's so elegant. What you can do is take your veil and have a hair stylist try different up-do's. Especially in August, you won't want sweaty hair. You want to show off your entire dress and your neckline and earrings. Believe me, they can put in a few curls for you, or you can just bun it up and use a hairpiece. But you want to show off your face, and veil, for pictures, don't hide behind the hair. Look at other wedding pictures, and you'll notice most that have their hair down, draws their face down, and droopy looking. Hair up makes you look elegant and happy, shows off your smile. Best wishes!
Personally, I am so sick of brides having their hair scraped back into up do's. It looks so fake!!!

My hair is very very long, and I am having it curled and all down with a veil, I have had a trial it looked amazing, romantic curls everywhere :o)

There is nothing wrong with having your hair down, hair down is beautiful, I suggest you go and have a trial (take your veil!) and see how you go then.

Congrats!
I think it would look really pretty w/t some pieces down in the front and in the back u should have a small bun pulling back the top half of hair and the rest down.
You can get a lot of ideas from wedding hair style galleries online. I found a site that even has videos of wedding hair styles as well as photo galleries. Check it out.
I liked the first hairstyle. The dress if amazing. The first hair style looks great with the dress.... Have an amazing weeding.
The girl in the first link.......I like her hair and it looks like an easy half up hairstyle with straight hair.
