Wedding hairstyles?

I am looking for a wedding haristyle for my wedding. I have long hair and would like something that is half up and half dowon type thing. I have been looking for pictures of different styles but haven't found one I really like. Any suggestions or pictures would be appreciated.Wedding hairstyles?
I love the idea of wearing your hair 1/2 or all down. It's beautiful why not use it? Plus, if you always wear your hair down, like me, you won't look like yourself with your hair up in all of your wedding photos. With that said...

Here are some pictures that I found that I liked:

I think it also matters on the texure and lenght of your hair, as well as your dress style as to which your would choose. Talk to your stylist about it, and do a trial run!!! Good Luck!!!Wedding hairstyles?
Kind of hard to answer because basically it depends on the style and type of headpiece that you are wearing. But other than that, go to several upper style salons and ask to see wedding styles for hair. They should have a notebook or style book with many styles in there and you could get some good ideas from there, but make sure that you keep in mind your headpiece while you are browsing
if you say you want to wear it half up/half down, get a nice sparkly clip to pull it back with and have big sexy wavy curls on the bottom, if you have bangs sweep them to the side
Curl it and pin it back.

However, you will get very warm and will sweat on your wedding day, as you're getting ready, whenever you're in a group of people, and especially when you're dancing. I wore mine all up, and I was so glad I did! I didn't have to worry about my hair getting messy and getting flat by the end of the night.
I have the same thing, long hair I am going to wear mine down, with side swept bangs framing my face and maybe a little bit pulled back with big curls. I think it will look good no matter what, if it falls a little it will still look good, a night it will look good and the next day you can pull it up with the curls and keep the funky look. Plus it shows the length of your hair, you didn't grow it out for no reason. Just an idea! Have fun!
I would wear it down... I think its so much more beautiful that way, long and flowing about your shoulders... but maybe you should ask your fiance what he thinks looks best..

remember, you don't want stiff hair when its time to be alone together, men hate stiff hair, and love to be able to put their hands in it.. :)
go to different stylists and ask their opinion. Ive seen lots of neat updos on girls. but hot curl the entire head and go from there..
Ok first what you should do is consider you veil if you have one and tiara if you have one. If you have either one of these figure out where you are going to get you hair done at and go there and have them do a run through on a few hairstyles to see which one you like better. Check out our site below
check out different wed sites that have pictures of brides...david's bridal or you can do a view search on yahoo and search wedding parties or brides...good luck!!!

Some suggestions:

Classic Updo:

Create a mass of curls with a curling iron and sweep hair up and secure it on top of the head in a high ponytail. Let the curls spill out around the elastic, pin any strays, and spray it into place.

French Twist:

Love the Audrey Hepburn look? Try a classic French twist. Because this style works best with hair in tip-top condition, start deep-conditioning treatments well before the big day.

A Romantic Look:

If you're marrying in a garden setting, a Victorian-style gown, or you just want to capture an ultra-romantic effect, try a more unstructured hairdo. Apply a product that will hold hair in place and give it some shine, then scrunch hair to form soft waves and curls. Next, gather it in the back, form it in a downward French roll and secure it with a large barrette at the nape of the neck.

Crown of Twists:

Try a more intricate style. Divide hair into small sections. Twist each section and create a crown with the twisted locks by pinning each on top of your head.

Up-and-down Do:

Can't decide if you want your hair up or down? Try a little of both! Pin up the front half of the head in a simple sweep or more elaborate loops, and let the rest hang down the back.

Simple Ponytail:

A basic style can look very sophisticated. Pull back hair into a low-slung ponytail. For a more glamorous look, add some extra shine with a small amount of shine serum before styling.

Modern Updo:

If a simple uptwist makes your face feel overexposed, pull down pieces from the front of the hair to create tiny face-framing tendrils, which soften the look
