Wedding hairstyle?

I am 49 and have waist length hair and would like to wear it in a 50's style for my rock n roll themed wedding next April but can not find any sites on the net with styles that long to show the hairdresser. I do not want to get it cut.

I would like to be able to see it on me as a virtual make over but all the sites I've found want money to do the virtual thing.

Any suggestions?Wedding hairstyle?
Here is page with various links to 50's hairstyles of all types. Good luck!

Do you have a friend or a relative who does hair and can experiment with you? Or go to a beauty college and let them experiment a bit. The later will cost a few bucks, but if you get what you want, it may be worth it.
Traditionally the 1950's hair style was this

so I'm not sure exactly what you are hoping for, but why not look up celebrities you remember from the 50s that you admired and look up the movies they were in--then you can get a picture of a particular person to show the hairdresser.

Frankie and Annette--annette had the same hair as above.

Here is Marilyn and Jane Mansfield--but they have the same hair as well.

I hope these help somewhat but it seems impossible to not get your hair cut. No one had hair that long back then--that is more hippie late 60s/early 70s and not clean cut 1950s. A lot of curl and a lot of twists like this

will use more of your hair.
