Wedding hairstyle?

I love my hair down, as does my fiance, but my aunt and some other relatives are of the opinion that this will not look right with my dress. the dress is strapless with a sweetheart neckline and has a somewhat full skirt. Does anyone think that half-up would be a good compromise?Wedding hairstyle?
It's your wedding. You decide which hairstyle you like better.

Certainly an up do is more elegant, but hair down is romantic, and sexy. You can decide for an up-do or...

Torn between two dos?

Sport one style during your ceremony (perhaps a formal updo), then another, more relaxed look (think loose, cascading curls) for your reception.

Half up do are great because they combine elegance with romance. Some of them are really sexy too!

You should also take in consideration these factors:

Your headpiece and veil. Formal or informal wedding.

Read the tips below and decide what is best for you, and look glamoruos on your wedding day.

Hairstyles to-dos

6 months

Research hairstyles: Consider your personal style, your wedding dress and where your reception will take place.

Interview stylists: Ask to see their portfolios, and discuss ideas for your style.

Determine a schedule with your new stylist for your pre-wedding cut, color and other treatments.

For hair that鈥檚 shiny and healthy, start getting conditioning treatments six months before your wedding day.

Choose your veil or headpiece.

Bring all hair accessories with you to your next appointment.

Get your hair trimmed. If you perm, straighten or color your hair, get these treatments done as well.

Do a trial run of your big-day do. Bring a trustworthy friend to get her honest opinion. Don't be afraid to reject a style. Your stylist should be willing to experiment until you're satisfied.

Ask your stylist to show you how to remove your headpiece without ruining your do; practice before you leave the salon.

If you highlight your hair, now鈥檚 the time for a final touchup. Color looks better after the first couple of weeks鈥攁nd if you don't like it, there鈥檚 enough time to get it fixed.

Assemble a ';hair repair'; kit for the big day, stocked with extra pins and any styling products for last-minute touch-ups. Ask a bridesmaid to make sure it鈥檚 with you when you dress.

Congratulations, and hope everything goes well on your big day!Wedding hairstyle?
its up to you. for your stagette, I would get a run through with your hair (why not look great when you celebrate?). Talk to your stylist about what you would like, and see what they say. My friend left her hair down, with half of it up, and it was slightly curled. It looked great. But you want to feel great, so it is up to you. And if you don't like your style for your stagette, you can change it up.

But definately get your hair done in advance to test it out. It would cost more, but worth it in the long run.
Here are some wedding hair styles but some are not your hair color so just imagine it:

It is your wedding day and you will be looking at these pictures for the rest of your life. Choose a hairstyle that you are comfortable with now and will like on yourself years from now. Do all of your experimenting way before the wedding and have your hairdresser do a run through with your veil before your wedding so you guys are clear and you are not disappointed on the big day. You can wear your hair up and still have it look soft and flowing with wispy pieces or curls coming down. I really think it will depend on your veil. Make an appt to talk with your hairdresser about your options. He/she may have some great ideas that you haven't considered. Don't forget to take your veil along for the appt! Best wishes and good luck.
How about keep ur hair curly, but put half of it up with just a little down on ur shoulders?
I say too hell with everyone else except whos paying if that person has an opinion on your hair then compromise with them, and I think half up and down would be beautiful with the type of dress you described. Good Luck
its your day, wear it however you feel comfortable
curl your hair and put some of it up
Put it all up! Difference is always cool and don't tell your fiance so he can be surprised. I'm sure it will look nice too.
