Adrianne Curry's wedding hairstyle...?

Ok so I want long flowy hairstyle on my wedding day. I loved Adrianne Curry's (1st cycle winner of ANTM) and wife of Christopher Knight (ex Peter Brady from the Brady Bunch) hairlstyle. I have looked everywhere. How do I get a hair do like hers. I live near chicago so any ideas would be appreciated. I think she had hair extensions put in. Does any one know? How do I get details about her hair on her wedding?

Thanks for all the helpAdrianne Curry's wedding hairstyle...?
I've seen the pictures of her hairstyle and while it isn't my favorite, it does look very nice on her.

The one thing that I would caution you about is the fact that this hairstyle can make the hair look very stringy instead of long and flowy...however, everyone's hair is different. Your's may be able to hold that style much better than someone with my hair.

I also wanted my hair long and flowy the day of my wedding, but I also didn't want it to look stringy or fall into my face. Since I already have very long hair I was just lacking in the volume department. My hairdresser and I went over to a local wig shop (best place to go for real hair extentions...and trust me, you want the real ones) and got a few clip in extenstions that we clipped in at the top of my head. Gave it a lot more volume.

They have hair extensions that you can clip in. They go in a circle around the head and add a lot of length and volume to the bottom part of the hair. Like these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/DARK-BROWN-HAIR-CIRC鈥?/a>

If you get the ones with real hair your stylist shouldn't have any problem curling them, etc. I know with mine you can shampoo, curl, hair spray them, etc.

Another thing to consider is that she is not wearing a veil...do you want to wear a veil? The veil can drastically change the look of the hairstyle.

Just bring those pictures to your stylist and they should be able to play around with it. Definitely do a trial. If I had not done one my hair would have fallen completely flat that day.

Good luck to you :)Adrianne Curry's wedding hairstyle...?
I'm getting married in May and that's how I want my hair also. I have tried to find pictures but didn't come up with anything good. I just told the hair stylist that I wanted the sides back and loose curls in the rest. We did a trail run and it looked good.

When you find the person who is going to do your hair ask him or her if they saw the wedding.

Good luck!
I hope this helps

Yes she had extensions, the ones that are glued on.
If it's really hot the day of your wedding, you'll wish to Heaven you would have put it up somehow. And sweat will ruin whatever makeup you have on. But if it's going to be cool, then long hair worn down is fine.

As far as your question, I think you can contact any salon and show them the picture you have in mind.
your best bet is to get a picture of her hair and take it in to the stylist that will be doing your hair. most stylists give you a ';trial run'; for your wedding hair so you can discuss how it could be done then. best wishes!

    I LOVE YOUR DRESS.!!!!!

I think that it would be great if you did a half pony tail on the top and put the bottom in little ringlits. then take the half pony, pull the hair tie a little farther towards the end and squeeze your fingers through your hair so that there is a hole, then flip all of the hair through the hole and it hides the hair tie and its really adorable!

its great with your dress too because you get to see your face but also get some of your hair on your shoulders. the curls make it very romantic and beautiful and the hair flip just completes it! good luck!

here are a bunch on the knot.com. and a little advice: i did my bridal pictures this past weekend. my hairstylist failed to tell me NOT to flat iron my hair before coming....so my curls fell out within an hour!!!
That is exactly what I want. I haven't found a ton that I like but this is one of them:

    Help with finding wedding hairstyle?

I have medium length (past my shoulders, not quite to the middle of my back) dark brown hair, very straight, which doesn't curl well, but will hold some curl. My wedding is pretty casual, we are getting married in a garden/gazebo type location with about 20 family members present. My dress is @ www.davidsbridal.com style # BR1014. I don't want an updo, because I never wear my hair up unless I am working out or hanging at home. I would like a half-up do that I can do myself if possible. I also have a pretty tiara that my mom %26amp; I found for $10 on clearance...its not big %26amp; doesnt stick up a lot. Anyway, I have been searching for days to find something I like online that is close to what I want....Does anyone have any ideas? It doesn't have to be a half-up, I can go for all down, but definitely not all up! All suggestions(positive only please!) will be greatly appreciated....Help with finding wedding hairstyle?
Wear your hair like you would normally wear your hair if you where going on a fancy date with your fiancee'. Try our a stylist at least 3 months before the wedding. Don't do anything you normally wouldn't do. Remember he is marrying you not some fantasy you've made up in your head about your dream wedding. Just don't go extreme.Help with finding wedding hairstyle?
I can't post the link for some reason but do a Google search for ';photobucket be_byte6';. She has an amazing gallery of hairstyles for all hairtypes.
well, what i did for my sisters wedding was pulled my hair in a side pony and curled it. I have the same thing you do, my hair is pretty long and it wont really hold a curl. Just make sure if you curl it to use a lot of hairspray, it works!! Yeah, curl it with a curling iron and then pull in loosely into a side pony that rests on your shoulders and then spray the heck out of it and take the tip of a comb and sort of poof your hair so it doesnt look so flat. Congrats on the wedding! :)
Half up dos are very popular. Have a look at the half up hairdo photo collage on the homepage of this group. There are more pictures in the group photo section. You have to join the group to see them.

    http://ca.groups.yahoo.com/group/brides_鈥?/a>

(I now own this group. I took over from the previous owner who was too busy to take care of it. I made photo collages of a lot of hairstyles and they are posted in the photo section under hairstyles updos and halfup dos).

I invite any girls here getting married, to join.
do the opposite of what u do now.

if u leave it down wear it up

if u wear it curly wear it straight

    and so forth. Good luck.

    p.s.

in my opinion... with that dress u should wear ur hair down and curl it only at the tips. put on ur tiara and u will look great.

btw I love that dress it's really cute. I like it with the clover ribbon since it's a garden/gazebo wedding and it's casual.

I'd take the tiara and veil (if you have one) and go to your salon. Have a trial run. You may find that you like your hair all up.

I, like you have hair about the same length, but mine has natural curl/wave to it, so it doesn't hold curl well either - usually I just frizz! I thought I wanted a 1/2 up do, but once I saw it all up with the veil and tiara, I changed my mind.

You may think you want it one way, but once you see it done another way, you'll like it better! It only cost me $30 (tip included) to have my salon do my hair all down, 1/2 up, and full up.

    Good luck, and Congratulations!
Hey, I would do the opposite of what you do now. also I love that dress, I am afraid to order it online. Did you get it yet does it fitt. Do you need to alter It? I was considering getting it myself but afraid of online wedding dress purchasing. Do they have any fit garantee? Please post in aditional comments if you would. Thanx and congratulations!
Look up some celebs you like (or that have similar hair) and see how they've worn theirs. Either for movies or Oscars. I think as it's rather casual, look up Kate Hudson. Her hair has more curl but you can still get some great hairstyles for garden weddings.

Another hairstyle I really like with tiaras is something like this

    http://heatherhost.ehost-services102.com鈥?/a>

Instead of all up like that, do it half up half down. Hair piled up high like that really shows off the tiara. Think Mary Tyler Moore. Or the beginning of the Beehive. Where it has that 1960s poof at the crown.
I did a search last week on google for ';How to do half up do hair style'; and there were several videos on Utube that actually gave demos on how to do them yourself. I started last week and have been practicing them myself. My hair is the same length as yours, and is straight, but with the help of some mousse my hair will hold a curl. I am wearing a comb in my hair for the wedding that's about 5'; across and only 1'; high.

Today's half up do has gotten the most compliments from both customers and co-workers. It's been fun getting people's input.

I would search and check it out... it's alot easier than I ever would have thought!

    Good luck!

    Half-up wedding hairstyle... HELP!?

I have been thinking for months now that I wanted ALL of my hair put in an up-do. However, I got my hair done for free at a bridal show today and it COMPLETELY changed my mind. I never ever wear my hair up and now I know why. I am totally set on having one of those half-up styles now. Here's a few of my issues though... 1) We are getting married in mid-July when it's usually pretty hot and humid (will my curls stay? and how can the salon get them to stay?) will it help that the ceremony doesn't start until 5:30 and the reception is immediately following? 2) I have very fine hair. Not thin... just fine. I have alot of it but it slips out of bobby pins and everything else very easily. Do you think I could pull all those curls off? Also, any good pictures of a half-up style with a tiara? Thanks so much!Half-up wedding hairstyle... HELP!?
My wedding is July 11th and I'm thinking about a half updo as well. Some suggestions to keep the curls in - after washing your hair the night before, put gel through it. And don't use conditioner - I know for my hair, it gets so soft that it just slips out of any bobby pin or barrette. Last time I was in a wedding with a half updo, the stylish sprayed every curl before and after putting it on the curling iron.

Also, you could try a style that is technically ';up'; but has curls coming down the back so it looks like it's down. But the curls are off your neck and less susceptible to drooping.

Honestly, as long as the curls survive through your pictures after the ceremony, that's the most important thing. Then at your reception just dance and have a good time - everybody else's hair will be just as droopy by night's end!Half-up wedding hairstyle... HELP!?
Why don't you do a french braid. All of your hair would be up but it would still be down on your neck. Have some sprigs around your face curled. You could put some baby's breath in teh braid. This way the only curls you would have to worry about fallling is the ones around your face adn having most of your hair up will keep you cooler.
Have you thought about using a hairpiece. They hold curls alot better and some come in the design already..all you have to do is attach it

    http://www.wigs.com/index.php?cPath=2%26amp;fi鈥?/a>
Yes it will look nice. That is how I did mine.

    http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cf鈥?/a>

ok I sent an email. I hope you get it. I am wearing a tiara.
i wore my hair half up and half down when i got married last July, and I kind of wish I went with all up. It was hot outside, so when we were outside getting pictures taken, the half that was down was actually sticking to the back of my neck from sweat! I wish I wore it all up so I wouldn't have had that happen. I got mind done at a salon and my hair dresser told me that my curls would stay all day no matter what - but they didn't! she put lots of hairspray and stuff in my hair, but it didn't matter. by the end of the night my curls had lost their bounce.

    http://www.chrisandcarmel.com/gallery/d/鈥?/a>
Okay this wasn't a wedding but it was my senior prom (back in 2004...seems like forever) and at the time I was having me nails done at a salon that was for African Americans (I was really good friends with own of the owners and he suggested I got there) so when I was the getting my nails done I mentioned I didn't know what to do about my hair for prom because my dress was very intricate (it had a see through back with flower stitching and beading that I didn't want missed) so she told me to bring it in the next time I came in and show it to their hairstylist that wasn't in that day. I brought it in 2 weeks later (day before prom actually) showed it to her and she told me she had an idea (I wanted it half up half down with ringlets going down my back) I went in the next day (around 11-prom at 6) and she did my hair using curling irons that she put in her little ovens she had at her station (I've never seen this done and to this day I still haven't seen it) she would put 3 different sizes in the oven to heat up (I wish I could find a picture of what they look like but I can't find one on the internet (maybe someone else knows what I'm taking about) she would grab one and twirl one around for a few seconds to cool it down a little grab a section of hair, and smooth down the little fly-aways with it the curl it. I'll tell you what it was damn hot (I could feel the heat going through my hair to my neck..and I don't even feel that with a regular curling iron you plug in) I was a little worried my hair would get singed off like in ';Little Women'; if you've seen the movie you'll know what I'm talking about, but the curls came out nice and soft and bouncey. She did this to my whole head, and it looked gorgeous just like that! She put my little tiara in and I went home to change for prom, my mother and boyfriend (fiance now) both cried because I'm the little rough and tumble girl that would rather go play with my horses in the mud that put a dress on (apparently I looked like a lady...whatever lol) I dances the whole prom (the humidity and stuffiness of the room was horrible for everyone's hair...but not mine) I got home @ 4 in the morning went straight to bed, then got up @ 8:30 to go to breakfast with my boyfriend and family and my hair still looked like it just got done, not a strand out of place - I did look a little funny walking into Denny's with my hair like it did but it was a funny moment, I then went back home to bed and got up at 4:00 to go watch my bf and his friends play basketball (with my hair still looking great just minus the tiara) it was great and funny at the same time cause his friends have never seen me looking like that a priceless moment so to speak (he and I went to different schools and his friends couldn't stop laughing) it was a fun 24 hrs I'll say. But I would definatly check out different salons and see what they have for curling (this was the best for my hair and I have REALLY thick hair) and see if this works best for you. If you find a salon that has what I am talking about just tell them you are trying different hairstyles for you wedding and just have them curl your whole head of hair and just do everday life with your curls and see how long it take them to droop.

**EDIT** Okay never mind I figured it out now after I emailed you, it's called stand and stove sets (incase anyone else wasinterested) http://www.ebonyline.com/stoveiron.html here's a site that sells the sets and other accessories as well. They work great!

I would go to the stylist you plan to use and ask her all of those questions. I'm sure she would have some great suggestions on how to make your specific type of hair work with the hairstyle you want. In my opinion, I don't think the heat will necessarily affect your hair, but the wind may. I got married in Oct %26amp; had a half up style also and it was such a windy day that a lot of my curls did fall. However, it was still out of my face and looked pretty regardless. And it was curly in the photos we took before the ceremony, so it worked out.

I know you probably don't want to hear it, but let someone do your hair- if you have a good hairdresser that's loyal to you, she'd only charge you around 30 to 40 dollars, which somehow i'm sure you could manage to pick up an extra shift or your fiance could. Check out instyle.com- they have so many celeb photos that have all kinds of hairstyles. Just make sure you do a practice runthrough on your hair and makeup- so you are pleased with yourself. Hopefully you will only have one wedding and those pictures will be passed down and represent your love and who you are as a couple. Best of luck and congratulations!

    My Wedding Hairstyle Test Run..?

Hey Ladies! (well im assuming most the people in Yahoo weddings are ladies lol) i just had my test run for my hair for my wedding.... and i hated it... i dont know if im being picky or if this stylist just didnt do a good job?

and this is what i got...

    http://www.flickr.com/photos/23971792@N0鈥?/a>

now... the reason i picked the the hairtsyle that i wanted was because i wanted it to slightly wild but romantic too! and i feel like i the style i did get was 17 year old prom girl? I just HATE it! my fiance said he loved it... but then again he probably said that because hes never seen my hair done lol...

well my whole point of this is... im having another test run with the same stylist (because i was unhappy with the results) and i want to know what to say to herMy Wedding Hairstyle Test Run..?
I would say you want it to be less polished tell her to use a bigger curler or even a blow dryer and round brush not a iron. the curls I think are what make it look like prom night. the back is not bad but just a little to ';perfect'; tell her you want it to be a little messy.

You could even try something like this back is is formal but not so tight then have the lose curl front like your picture.

    http://www.onlyupdos.com/formal_wedding_鈥?/a>

GOOD LUCK!!My Wedding Hairstyle Test Run..?
I totally understand! This is totally prom hair and way! to much hairspray was used.

I would def go for another run with somebody else and bring in these pics to show her/him what you didn't like!
Okay I understand why you don't like it. You wanted something curly, romantic, and slightly unruly - a sort of natural looking hairdo. But what you got was a very polished, hairsprayed updo that doesn't look very natural. I suggest you try again, emphasizing that you'd like a natural looking hairdo maybe with less hairspray.
If you are going back to the same person for another try, then tell them what exactly you didn't like about the first up-do. tell them it was too ';prom-like';. Maybe tell them you are trying to go for that ';wild/ romantic'; look so they will not make the hair style look so styled and perfect.

    Good Luck!
you are totally right...i kinda laughed when i saw what they did to you, they will always do that, they never leave your hair the way you want it. it's happened to me before
I got my pre-run done three times and all looked horrible. My fiance made fun of me cuz i cried over my hair so i know how you feel. So i went to a different salon paid more money but it was worth it. You will have your wedding pictures forever and you don't want to think unhappy thoughts due to your hair do. (I went to the JCPenney salon and turned out beautiful). Good luck and congrats.
it does not look the same at all, shes not very good at creating that look, i would reconsider your hairdresser all together but if not, tell her to soften your curls and to lay off the stiff hair spray. You may also want to tell her to tease your hair a little bit, i really hope it works out!

PS your hair did look pretty, just not what you were asking for!
Tell her want it looser, softer, and a little ';messier.'; It does look very promish. The curls are too defined with whatever product she used - looks like she used a pomade or too much gel.

Also, it is too tight - you want more volume in the back and you want the volume higher up. She needs to tease your hair a bit instead of spraying and defining the ringlets.

It looks a little tacky - which is way your fiance liked it. Remember - guys think that the girls on poles look hot. (LOL)

Now - all that being said - the bride in the picture may have very very thick hair and that style just might not be possible on you without extensions, etc. But your stylist should have told you that up front.
It looks similar to me except for that she went a little ';harsh'; on the curls if you know what I mean. Just tell her that you want it a little softer and explain to her how you'd like it changed. I would just come out and say - you did it wrong- or anything but just tell her you had pictured it differently.
Your hair doo wasn't even close to the picture. You would look so beautiful with that style. Talk her through the style as she is doing it and hold up the picture. Congrats on your big day. I hope things work out for you.
Well, I personally think that she did a great job on your hair...but, I know exactly how you feel. I had to do two trials because I am extremely picky about my hair. I found that the second time I went to the stylist I was much more comfortable with her and able to tell her what I wanted...

For your hair you could tell her that you want it a little bit more loose and soft. That would be the only way that I could think of to describe.

The next time you go make sure that you don't leave until you are happy. I know sometimes it is really hard to say something, but I found that once I spoke up I got the exact hairstyle that I wanted.

    Good luck... :)

Maybe you could go for a hairstyle like this one...it's somewhat similar, but with a little less curl. I think it would look good on you

    http://lavazemarayesh.com/women/alba/img鈥?/a>
I see. I would go for the second test run and tell her that you are wanting softer, more natural looking curls, light on the hairspray. If you get anything less than an accommodating response you should find another stylist. I think if she puts your wet hair in rollers and lets them dry, then brushes them out while applying a MIST of hairspray, you'll get the look that you want. Good Luck and CONGRATS!
you are right i don't like the way she did your hair its to flat

    Another wedding hairstyle question?

Hair: Very, VERY thick (it gets a little wavy if I let it dry naturally)

Length: Right now it's about shoulder length, with my bangs about 4.5'; long

    Veil: Yes

Wedding: Outdoor wedding, July 19th, semi-formal

I don't want to wear my hair all the way up with gobs of hairspray because I want my soon-to-be-husband to be able to put his hands on/in it. And with how much hair I have, it really does take GOBS of the stuff to hold a style.

But I don't want to leave it all the way down because really thick hair + July + outside = really hot and sweaty and gross

Am I totally insane here? Can you guys think of anything that could work for this or do I need to lower my standards a little bit?

Thanks for your help in advance!Another wedding hairstyle question?
why don't you leave it wavy and make a loose braid..then you can place a vine made of crystals through your hair..i'll try to find a picture of what i'm talking about

    like this:

    http://www.myweddingaccessories.com/prod鈥?/a>

you can place them throughout your braids to make it look like a vine is wrapping around your hair..Another wedding hairstyle question?
shoulder length hair isnt very long y dont u get some layers in it cuz it makes ur thick hair a bit thinnner and u wont need gobs of hair spray and gel

Need Wedding Hairstyle Today!! Help please!?

Can anyone suggest a nice wedding hairstyle thats either up or halfway up that doesn't look like a big ';prom updo';.

The prom updos make my round shaped face look huge.

And I have medium length hair.

I'm going today in a few hours for my hair stylist to do some trial styles on my hair and I only have 2 to take to her!Need Wedding Hairstyle Today!! Help please!?
Half up, half down. Take the front half of your hair and pull it up onto the crown of your head. Sort of tease it a little to give your face a longer shape, and pull down a few tendrils around your face to frame it, for a less severe look. Then have her curl the hair that's down with a big-barrel curling iron. It will look wavy and lovely, but not too ';done.';Need Wedding Hairstyle Today!! Help please!?

    What are you wearing?

Is it a formal or more relaxed wedding?

    Beach wedding hairstyle help please!!?

Hi guys, I'm getting married in Mexico on the beach. I have hair past the middle of my back and really want to wear it down and pretty casual. Anybody have any good tips for a down do that won't look like I've been through a tornado ... being a beach wedding I'm a little concerned about the wind. Any suggestions would be helpful :)Beach wedding hairstyle help please!!?
i was married on the beach...i left my hair down and only pulled back a bit of it in the front so it wouldn't blow in my eyes...use extra hairspray for the fly aways :) Beach wedding hairstyle help please!!?
maybe a low ponytail with a piece of your hair wrapping the band. Possibly a simple flower pinned in. It will be simple, but elegant, and keep your hair out of your way, out of your face if there is any wind.

It will also still show off the length.

Get a good lightweight product to smooth it and keep any frizzies out.

(i use Dove frizz lotion- my hair is stick straight, but it helps with any static)

    Spray lightly with a shine.
The girl in Mamma Mia, She wore it half back and wavy down her back. It looked gorgeous and would keep from having too much wisp in your face http://www.wildaboutmovies.com/images_5/鈥?/a>
Have your hair curled, but pinned back this way it wont be in your face. Something like one of these, I personally love the second picture.
First off, get a hair cut!! Long hair is not practical for the beach unless you are willing to tie it back or up. If you have a favorite hair stylist, do a consult that includes a fan!!

I am getting married on the beach. I would love a hairstyle that is simple yet beautiful (not the messy look). My hair is about 2 inches past my shoulders and it is layered. Here is a picture of my dress. I am wearing a small tiara and a veil that is about elbow length...can anyone help!!

    http://www.davidsbridal.com/bridal_gowns_detail.jsp?stid=3353%26amp;prodgroup=10Beach Wedding Hairstyle?
Well I have a few tips for you, I was a beach bride in June!

Buy the smallest fishing weights you can find at your local sporting goods store or Wal-mart. Pain them the color of your dress (with finger nail polish) once there dry attach one to each corner of the veil, one in the middle of the back. This keeps veil from blowing around your face in the wind,(wont hit a bridesmaid in the face or blow around when walking down or up the isle) and not to heavy that it will pull your hair out.

I had my hair pulled half up half down in curls. I also used a warming spray. Ask you hair dresser they know what I am talking about. It holds the curls but isn't crunchy and stiff, so if a curl comes down or the wind blows a bit it will move naturally and not look odd in pictures. like the wind blowing softly but your hair only looks like half of it is moving (like the wind hit a block wall).

Expect to have those little hairs come down and be around your face, we planned on it so we curled and set them where we wanted them ahead of time so it was a big deal when they came loose.

Hair spray with make your hair frizzy in the moist ocean air. I would ask the hair dresser or go online and check out bride hair at the salons. They will have tons of hair ideas.

Hope this helped and best wishes. I personally had my hair done like Elisabeth on the Pirate of the Caribbean 1 where she was on the goast ship. It was a classic look with soft curls that were made to look natural. So the hair dresser made them very tight perfect curls and said let the wind do it thing and make it look natural. It did and was perfect!Beach Wedding Hairstyle?
    Hi

The dress is very lovely. Have you thought bout a french braid/plaite or even something like Geena Davis wore in a league of their own. I would have it tied back to lift it from the nape of your neck so you can stay cooler.

    Half Up, Half Down

This is the usual hairstyle brides opt to have because it's simple and hassle-free to do. Only half of the hair is pinned, clipped, or tied -- that's why it's called ';half up, half down.'; You can do a lot of add-ons to this hairstyle to complement your wedding make up. The laid-down part of the hair can be curled, whichever way you want, though big curls are still preferred. For your hairstyle not to look too boring in front, you can also pull out some bang
You've gotten good suggestions from other answerers, but let me tell you what happened to my niece during her beach wedding--

In ALL of the photos, my niece's face is dripping with sweat (as was her husband's). If it's going to be a hot day, MAKE SURE you have towels or Kleenex to blot your faces with, and MAKEUP ON HAND, if necessary, to fix your face during the camera shooting.

It would have made so much difference in the photos if the bride and groom hadn't been all sweaty!

ONE OTHER THING: Not all photographers take into consideration the angle of the sun on your faces. Make sure your photographer takes the photos carefully. If they are just photographers who work at the resort you're going to, they aren't particularly going to care if they do a good job with their photography or not.
I'd say that an up-do would be best, assuming that there most likely will be a sea breeze (you wouldn't want your lovely locks blowing in your face!) A simple french twist or bun would be good, and some white flowers tucked in would look very nice. Or, do a bun with the tiara on top, and the veil tucked in the underside of the bun.
    Hi-

First of all i want to say that is a really pretty dress!!

I think you should wear your hair all down (or half up/half down) and make it curly. I know your hair isn't as long as some of these photos (but it's just an idea..)

just go on yahoo images and type in 'wedding updo' wedding hair, wedding hairstyles...
That dress is really pretty! I liked the model's hairstyle though. It was casual but still pretty.

When I saw Beach Wedding Hairstyle, I instantly thought of curly/wavy hair tied back in a half-ponytail, but I don't know if you would consider that messy...
A friend of mine does hair.. she said the going thing right now is wearing your hair natural .. just do some nice curls and let them drop.. she did that and it was so pretty. She just renewed her vows.. 10yrs now for her.. And she did her vows on the beach.
I think the girls hair in the picture is nice.

Are you really set on a veil and tiara? Because flowers would be really nice as well. You could even do them with the hairstyle in that picture.
I think it would be really pretty if you curled your hair loosely (aka gisele bundchen style) and left it down or pulled the front pieces up like the model in the picture.
Braided like Bo Derek in 10...

    Wedding Hairstyle suggestions?

I am getting married soon, but I'm having trouble deciding how to style my hair to go with my veil (which is my mothers.) It sits as a headband, and it covers the front as well as the back (like the traditional veils.) I have straight, thin, shoulder length hair, so some styles are much harder to keep up (like curls) in the Florida humidity. Would having a flower in my hair also be too much with the veil?

Here are some pictures of the veil, please forgive my smile, I get the braces off before the wedding (thank God.)

    Wedding Hairstyle Question! 10 points!?

OK so I am very worried about my hair for my Wedding! I have long, straight, relatively fine hair and I am thinking about having my hair in a low side bun and kind of at the side so you can see it front on. I don't want a slick look, something pretty, feminine, bouncy, natural and soft. I am having a tough time finding pictures which look like what I'm after and I'd REALLY appreciate if you have any ideas/picture links?

Wedding hairstyle - maid of honor?

I know that tons of people have already asked this question, but I was hoping to find some answers that are specifically suited to my hair!

I am the maid of honor for the wedding of my brother and one of my best friends this May. I am trying to find some ideas for hairstyles. The bride is doing a sort-of low bun updo and I don't want to have my hair be too similiar, yet I want it to blend with her hair, after all - she's the shining star for the day! :o)

My hair is a medium-dark brown that reaches about halfway down my back. I do have side swept bangs but they are fairly long and almost can be tucked behind the ear (and my hair grows quickly so probably will be able to reach behind the ear by the wedding). My hair is fine and lacks much volume but I do have a lot of hair (if that makes sense - in other words, when you gather it all up it makes a big ponytail, but the individual hairs are fine). My hair absolutely does not curl - it falls flat immediately. I cannot do a half-up style or leave it down because it will not look right with how straight my hair is.

So basically I'm asking for suggestions of something that looks formal and sophisticated without looking like a prom style, keeping in mind that my hair is fairly long, stick-straight, and difficult to work with! Please help me out with any suggestions you have - pictures are absolutely best! I appreciate it!!Wedding hairstyle - maid of honor?

you could just go natural looking and put some loose barrel curls in it and top it with your veil and if you have a tiara that is what I am doing. I have like the same hair style color and length, twinkies! I like when brides leave their hair down it looks soft and feminine. I am not a big fan of up do's on me. They tend to look promish. When I say up do's look promish I mean on me. Some people they look gorgeous they just don't work on me. Sorry if someone took it the wrong way :(

KJ is right. YOu should decide on a stylist and let them do a few trials. I am going to go to my hair lady and do about 3 different styles about 6 or 7 months prior to the wedding. I will set up 3 different trial appointments and have her style my hair in 3 different do's then I will take a pic of each and decide out of the 3 which one I want to go with.
maybe try barrel curls, or have it straight at the base and root of the hair and curled at the ends

Schedule a hairstyle test appointment with a hairstylist. They will do 4-5 hairstyles in like an hour and a half and then on your wedding day repeat the one you liked. I did that. I made sure to schedule it a day me and my man were going out later...hahah.
My suggestion would to go test out some hair styles. Go to your hair stylist and have them show you a few ideas on your hair so that you know for sure what you like
Based on your description, I'm sure the hairstyle of Jennifer Anniston would go great. Congraduations on your wedding. Happy early honey-moon.
I just did an image search on Google for ';wedding hair'; and a million pictures are being shown. I think you should look through those.
you can do tiny braids that pin up and fan out
Ok you should go with some hair down in the back all curled and a big fluffy bun on the back it would look sooooooooooooooooooooo cute!!! wish I could see the end result.

    Wedding hairstyle how to?

There's this video on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/user/thebridalbeautysalon#p/a/u/0/HKndaRkrqBk

I do not know what the style is called but the video is too quick to explain how to do the style (the first and third one in the video). Does anybody out there actually know how to create this style? And if you do would you be so kind enough to either send me a how to video or some link with pictures and diagrams so I can learn how to do it?

I get the idea of the hair do; you are basically inverting a curl so the outside pops up but every time I try to do this style I fail miserably.

Thanks in advance for any answers. Also, does anyone know the name of this style?Wedding hairstyle how to?
Im sorry i dont know any videos showin these styles .In the first video curls are given.first you have to apply gel(not too much) in your hair take some strands of hair from ur crown hold the hair up 90degree as shown in the video, later ';back combing'; is done (its usually done to give more volume to ur hair) .My advice is not to do that because it damages ur hair its difficult to undo it. you can do it if ur hair is thin. make curls keep it in ur desired position and fix it with the help of very small pins(invisible hair slides).continue in the same way...

im not aware of the 3rd oneWedding hairstyle how to?

you should have her try that onee.Wedding Hairstyle?
Buy a whole pack of bobby pins. The put the bottom half in a ponytail(the part that will be left down). Take the hair on top in strips and with each strip you want to take it FOLD it and then bobby pin it down. It will look bad until you keep doing it. Then when you are done hairspray the top then take the low ponytail out and it should work

    Wedding hairstyle help!?

I have long, straight hair and have no idea what to do with my hair for my wedding. I almost always have it down b/c my face is so round that pulling it back just accentuates it, but I want to look simple but elegant for the big day. (My mom is set on me wearing my hair up, but I'm worried about hating all of my pictures.) I have a strapless tea-length dress and a veil that goes about halfway down my back...and would like to wear either a tiara or headband. Does anyone have any ideas and/or places to look for ideas?Wedding hairstyle help!?
If you wanted to go for something in between, how about you pull the top up for a bit of height and perhaps have some loose layers (bangs) to frame your face. They will shave off the width a little so you dont look so round but it will still be styled up a little at the top.

Failing that, you could always have a half side swept do.

Katherine Heigl has a round / square face and she has gone for a side pinned vintage look. She's on the cover of the newest Vanity Fair

And, here is the best bit. There is a website solely dedicated to round face hairstyles! Upload a pic and try some styles.

go for a half up half down hair style. did you ever see steel magnolias? julia roberts style in that movie sounds like what you are looking for. maybe a little less poufy. go to a salon for a consultation. pick out a tiara or headband and take it with you. that way they can help you decide on the perfect do. good luck and congrats.
have it up with curls, just have a few curls coming down around your face so it wont look soo pulled back, a teara would go nice too (see my pic :)

Also, you could go to the hair dresser and have then mess with it, see what you like, that way theres no surprises on the day of
You could try going to wedding runway shows or try looking at wedding magazines.
Half up/Half down is classic, like your dress (so it sounds in the way you described it, very pretty by the way!) If you would like some options, here's a link...
You could have your hair half up so from the back you still have your hair up with most of it still long and left down, and pull from the front strands of hair so it falls lightly on your face... Or put your hair up and pull lots of hair out or curl it before you put it up and have lots of loose strands coming down then you won't be so worried about your face.
You can still have an elegant';Upstyle'; even though you are a fuller in the face.

You can have some ';barrel curls'; which will give you height and then some softness around your face with some hair (that is curled) just to take the edge of your round face.

Upstyles look great on most people.....

I had an upstyle and wore a tiara. People said I looked like a

    Princess.

As long as you have some softness around the face, it shouldn't be a problem at all.

Having your hair down means that you will have to use a lot of hairspray or setting lotion(if you are going to have it curled) and chances are your hair/head may sweat.

You need to have a few experiments with your hairdresser before the big day using your tiara.

I think you will look beautiful....

don't be afraid to have an upstyle - they are truly elegant.

    All the best!!
    Try these Styles.

    http://i229.photobucket.com/albums/ee17/鈥?/a>
I think you can look really elegant without putting your hair up. I think that's where many people make a mistake on special ocassion hairstyles. 1) to look beautiful, it's okay look like yourself 2) you don't always have to put your hair up to look elegant.

There are many styles that can look beautiful with your hair down. You can curl it up (candy curls) or make it wavy or lots of other styles. go to a salon and consult a style book or just ask a professional they should be happy to help you. dont let them persuade you to put your hair up if you are not happy with it.instead persuade them to make you look beautiful with your hair down. good luck.
You might wanna go to your hairdresser. They could have creative ideas

Your hair length and thickness is PERFECT for loose, wavy curls. Trust me, whenever I curl a girlfriend's hair, guys take special notice---so you know it's got to be a sexy look. Plus, it seems to look well on any face shape. Good luck!Wedding Hairstyle???? I hate my hair up!!?
There is nothing that says you have to have your hair up just becuase you are the bride. In fact many women opt for a hairstyle that is not an up-do. Maybe you can try wearing your hair half up, or pin back one side. Experiement with differnt styles and see what looks good on you. Make appointments with different hairstylests and see what they suggest. Look through hair magazines and bridal magazines to see what you like. Also hair may depend on if you have a veil or not. If yes, make sure you try the style with the veil to see if they match. also DO NOT cut or dye your hair less than a week before the wedding.... you never know when you may come across a hair disaster, leave youself time to fix anything so you are not hiding on your wedding day. CONGRATS!

Maggie Sottero dresses are very nice. My daughter wore the Dion for her wedding. If you want to wear your hair down then do it. It is your day and you should be happy. You didn't say what your hair was like - color, length, texture, etc. I would suggest soft curls with maybe the sides swept back to show your face.
The dress looks great, the model in the picture isn't wearing a up-do, you are a very beautiful girl, you can wear whatever you want. .......... good luck
If you like Mid hair up wear it is just in a ponytail in the back and it never goes up then you could curl it and put pretty white things in your hair like flowers.
You don't have to wear your hair up. Are you wearing a tiara or headpiece of some sort? How long is your hair? Wear it down with loose big curls. You can pull the sides up and use clips or wear a tiara. Your dress is beautiful!!! Excellent choice.

    Congratulations!
Don't worry! You could try your hair in spiral curls or waves.
omg that dress is hella cute! if u dont like ur hair up then leave it down, maybe curl it
That dress is so HOT! I guess it depends on your veil too - what style veil are you going to wear?
you can do an half updo with loose curls. don't get a hairstyle you don't like because you should always look like yourself at your wedding. goodluck

    Wedding Hairstyle?

My best friend is going to get married in about two years, and i'm the maid on honor! Budget is a big concern for her, and so she asked me to do her makeup (no problem) and her hair. We decided we'd see what we could do, and if she's still not happy with it she'll go to a salon. She showed me this picture as something she'd like.

How would i do this?Wedding Hairstyle?
I stopped at one of those SoHo stands in the middle of the mall... showed her this picture (its the same one I was looking to do as well). My hair is about 2'; past my shoulders, fairly thick, and holds a curl pretty well. She sectioned off a small pony tail and secured it with an elastic, then wrapped it up like a bun and tucked in a comb underneath that had 2 wired curly hair pieces attached that matched my hair color perfectly. She then wrapped it up around the bun and twisted it to a mass on top of my head. At this point I was thinking your joking right? Then she put a second comb down from the top into that same bun... twisted the hair under and to the back. (remember they are on wires). She then took some of the loose hair from around my face (my own hair) and pulled back tiny strands of it and twisted them then secured them with little butterfly clips. She then pulled random pieces of my own hair out the back and blended it with the fake hair, throwing some of those tiny butterfly clips here and there.

Believe me I was a complete skeptic, but by the time she was finished my hair resembled this photo almost exactly. There were several people standing around by then telling me how beautiful it looked. I was sold, I spent $186.00 with the 2 hair combs (35.00/ea) and the rest was crystal combs %26amp; clips. I also got the video on how to use them, so I will now spend the next 3 months practicing.

The good thing is... its so easy.. and I will be able to use them again and again.

    Good luck.Wedding Hairstyle?
I think the best thing to do is practice practice practice! I am not a hair stylist, but if you are going to be helping her with this, make sure you do at least a few trials so you have it down before you start.

Sorry I can't give more specific advice!
I love that hair style! I print that exact one out for my own wedding. I didn't do it exactly the same, but that same idea of loosely swept up curls. I love it and I know that she'll look amazing and that you'll do amazing!
Two years away and you're talking about hair styles? Wow.

I'd wait for a year or so, and see if she still wants the same style, and then start worrying about it.
You both will change in the next 2 years and hair styles will be different. Set the topic aside for 18 months and then start talking about the choices.

    Wedding hairstyles?

Im trying to find a sexy modern hairstyle for my wedding....can yall reccomend any good websites...=i have long blonde wavy hair.....if that helps any....anything yall reccomend is helpful....thanksWedding hairstyles?
Please, do not wait until the last 2 weeks to decide on a style!

Go to your stylist at least 2 months before the wedding for a consultation.

Buy a few bridal magazines, mark the pages with the styles you like and then listen to her advice as to whether or not she agrees with your selections.

A picture of your gown/dress and veil will be especially helpful.

If your stylist does not charge for a consutation, you should be willing to tip her for the consultation, as well as on your wedding day, in addition to her normal charge.

hope this helps and congrats!!!Wedding hairstyle?
Perhaps you should just get your hairdresser to do the hairstyle the model has had done. Obviously a professional put a lot of thought into what hairstyle the model should wear to match the dress for the photoshoot so that hairstyle is probably your best option.

And sorry to be so blunt but I really hate that dress.
Any hair style would go. It depends if you want it up or down. You can do a really classic side swept bun and put a flower or something on the side, do a curly updp, or leae pary of it down and have it curled
    i think this one

I am wondering if anyone can help me find websites or pictures of wedding hairsyles that are half up half down with a picture of the front and the back also with a veil?? I am having a head piece, but it is just a small pin that will go above my veil, nothing like a tiara. If anyone can help that would be so great!!

    thanks!!Wedding Hairstyle--Need pics please!?
try www.theknot.com Will have some GREAT ideas for all aspects of your wedding (and it's all free information:D BONUS haha).

I'm doing the same thing, my HTB wants my hair down cause he loves it down, but I want it out of my face so what I am doing is pinning the front back in little twists and then it cascades down.

Google: ';half up do hair'; and look through the images there are som gorgeous ones there. too many for me to post all the links. lol

    Wedding Hairstyle for Thin Hair...?

My hair is pretty thin and is a little longer than my shoulders. Any suggestions on wedding hairstyles that work best with thin hair?Wedding Hairstyle for Thin Hair...?

I think a faincy bun would be nice. I have the same problem you do and thats what I am doing.Wedding Hairstyle for Thin Hair...?
thin hair curls the best! keep it down and curl it. (big curls not corkscrews!)
Don't let thin hair guide your hairstyle for your special day. Lots of woman now add hair extensions not always for length but also for thickness. I would find a good stylist and and try a few different styles. I usually recommend this even if you don't have thin hair. You should try getting your hair done a couple of times before the wedding to see which style you like best and take a picture of it so when you get your hair done on the big day you can show the picture to the stylist to remind her. Good luck.
bun or you could get your hair-stylist to volumize your hair and put it in a nice style
pull it back in a tight ponytail and rock the bald look.
They have some really neat hair pieces that you could get. Go to the mall and check them out and get one that matches your color then pull your own hair up and back and clip on the hair piece.

Are you wearing a head piece for your wedding if so keep that in mind when you purchase the hair piece.
    few curls here and there
I have fine hair too - for my wedding I had my hair lady pull it all back - but she pinned it so it looked like it had curls throughout.
Go to a hairdresser and tell them what you want - even if it's just 'I want something nice for my wedding.' They might suggest weaving some artificial hair in to 'bulk' it up for an up-do. Adding things like ribbons or flowers or other accessories may also help to give you a pretty look - or do something simple and wear a headpiece of some sort.
I don't know if you are planning to wear it up, but if you are you can go to one of the stores that sell fake hair(extentions) and buy hair that matches your color. Make sure you spend the money and buy good hair, you want to make sure that the hair can be curled with a curling iron without melting. This is what I have have the girls do who have thin hair for weddings. I you are planning to where your hair down you can have removable extentions custom made. They clip in and can be taken out that night. They are made with the measurements of your head so that they fit you perfectly. You can e-mail me if you have any ore questions cdrd4e@yahoo.com I custom make theese extentions or pieces whatever you need.
Have extensions put in. The cheapest place to go get hair extensions clued in or sewed in is a Beauty School . Look in the yellow pages in your area.
try and make it curly. My hair is thin too and for prom I used hot rollers and curled it and just pulled it back on the top to the back of the crown on my head.

I am having a tough time finding pictures which look like what I'm after and I'd REALLY appreciate if you have any ideas/picture links?Wedding Hairstyle Question! 10 points!?
ok LOTTS of curls (lose spiral curls) then u can do a swoop on either side u perfer (i say right) and then pin up the curls kinda in a french roll type of thing then after that pull the curls apart with your finger (NOT A COMB IT WOULD MESS IT UP) thats just to make more curls.....but i hope i helped out a lil

You could put your hair up and in a pony tail and the curl it then pin each curl in and make it in a curl bun i did that for my wedding it was great im a hair stylist my self so i did my own hair on my wedding day. i had many phone calls after so i could do their hair like that :)

I have a chubby face too, and I wore my hair pulled half back with lots of loose curls. I suggest trying a virtual hairstyler, there's one on ivillage.com for free, and one for $10 with more options on thehairstyler.com.
    hope this helps
